Sodium gluconate is a kind of sodium polyhydroxycarboxylate, also known as sodium
pentahydroxycaproate. It is white or light yellow crystalline particles or powder. It is very soluble
in water, slightly soluble in alcohol and insoluble in ether. The product has good retarding effect
and excellent taste.

Sodium gluconate uses
Sodium gluconate can be used as high-efficiency chelating agent, steel surface cleaning agent,
glass bottle cleaning agent, aluminum oxide coloring in electroplating industry in construction,
textile printing and dyeing, metal surface treatment and water treatment industries, and as
high-efficiency retarder and superplasticizer in concrete industry.
